I am an amateur landscape photographer, based in Fort Worth, Texas, but I grew up in Colorado.  For most of my childhood, I spent most of my summers exploring by 4 Wheel drive, the mining and railroad districts in the San Juan mountains in southwestern Colorado.  I still return at least every year, and am always captivated by the ruggedness of the mountains, the colors infused by the mineral rich rock, the spirt of those early miners who cut trails out of sheer rock, and survived in unbelievably harsh conditions.

I hope to be adding to these galleries photographs that capture the ghosts of those pioneers before the harsh winters take them down completely.

As an adult, Jackson Hole, the Tetons, and Yellowstone have completely captured my imagination.  I now spend 2 plus weeks a year in this area, which I find nothing short of magical.

Everything in these galleries is suitable for printing as a large, fine art print, e.g., at least 24x36. Many of these images have been captured on Medium Format equipment, Fuji GFX100.  The balance have been captured with high resolution Nikon bodies (D810, D850) with Zeiss Otus lenses (and many have been stitched to increase resolution).

If you find an image you can't live without, please contact me directly and I will be happy to help you get a suitable, large fine art print made at cost.
