As a child, I grew up passionate about mountain landscapes, and in the case of southwestern Colorado, the spirit of the early miners who refused to let the San Juan Mountains conquer them.
A trip to Africa almost 10 years ago re-ignited a love for photography.
By nature, and training, I am a logician, and have struggled with aesthetics and light. While spending time at the National Gallery in London, when I seemingly had more free time than I knew what to do with, Turner, the Hudson Valley School, especially Albert Bierstadt, and to my surprise, the Impressionists, showed me what an ideally lit landscape looked like. I have yet to capture that landscape, but practice makes perfect!
These images are all suitable for fine art quality, large (24x36 and larger) prints. If you see something you just can't live without, contact me directly, and I will be happy to help you and a lab obtain a suitable print.
